Get in Touch About Borden Records

Borden County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those requests to the appropriate public office below.

Where Borden Records Begin

For a Borden County arrest, begin with the Borden County Sheriff’s Office. No separate records line or sheriff hours are published. State that the inquiry is a Texas Public Information Act request and ask which agency has custody of the arrest, booking, or photograph record.

Borden County Sheriff’s Office
Sheriff Benny Ray Allison
P.O. Box 115
Gail, TX 79738
Phone: 806-756-4311
Fax: 806-756-4431
Email: ballison@co.borden.tx.us

The home page sets out the Borden record and written-request path in more detail. The Most Wanted Fugitives page explains how to use official warrant-check and resolution channels safely, but it cannot confirm an active warrant.

No Verified Public Roster or Feed

No official Borden public inmate roster, booking feed, arrest log, or booking-photo policy was found. The Borden Sheriff page and the reviewed Garza Sheriff/Jail page do not provide a verified public inmate-search interface. Do not assume a name will appear online or that a photograph is publicly displayed.

Use this order for a current custody or booking question:

  1. Ask Borden Sheriff first whether Borden, Garza, or another agency is the present records custodian.
  2. Contact Garza County Jail only if Borden Sheriff confirms the Borden-Garza boarding arrangement applies to that arrest or identifies Garza as the receiving facility.
  3. Request existing records in writing under Texas Government Code Chapter 552, and ask for any withholding basis or non-exempt portion if a record is not released.

Garza Contact if Confirmed

Garza County Jail was documented as a regional Borden booking contact in the 2021 to 2023 sources, not as a guaranteed current booking destination. Its official office can answer its own custody or intake questions after the referral is confirmed.

Court File and Disposition

A clerk is the route for a cause number, docket material, case disposition, or certified court copy. The clerk does not replace the Sheriff or a contract jail for a live booking question. The Borden County Clerk publishes courthouse hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed noon to 1 p.m.

State, Federal, and Immigration Custody

TDCJ’s offender search is for people committed to Texas state custody, not a newly booked Borden arrestee or a person held under a county contract. TDCJ says it does not provide inmate photographs to the public. The Federal Bureau of Prisons locator is for federal prison custody, while a federal pretrial or transport matter may require the U.S. Marshals Service or the relevant federal court. The ICE Online Detainee Locator is for people currently in ICE custody or recently released within its coverage, not a Borden booking record.

Each locator answers a different custody question. A missing result does not establish that no arrest occurred, and a later court disposition should be requested from the appropriate clerk rather than inferred from a custody locator.

The Borden Sheriff page also links VINELink for custody-notification navigation. It may cover participating records and events, but it is not a complete Borden arrest list, a booking-photo archive, or a court-disposition service.
